I Lived Here, As Well
Cinematography · Editing
I find the core of a story and cut it so it lands. Films, commercials and short-form, edited and graded in DaVinci Resolve.
Films, commercials and short-form. Twenty-four pieces, every one of them a link below.
Most people arrive with an experience, not a finished story. My job is to find the hook, the turn and the payoff already inside it.
A story works when it is real and people can see themselves in it. Before I cut, I look for what makes it relatable and what makes it true.
Then the craft serves that: where the shot changes, what the first second says, how the colour carries the mood.
Colour is where a story's mood is decided. I grade in DaVinci Resolve Studio, scopes first, and build my own node trees.
A story-first post-production system I built in DaVinci Resolve. It does the slow parts of the edit so the storyteller can focus on what is real in the story. For storytellers, not shortcut seekers.
Read the full transcript. Find the hook, the turn and the payoff, and what makes it relatable and real.
Script each clip as hook, body and payoff with source times, approved before a single cut.
Cut on word boundaries and at every camera change, framed for vertical without losing who is speaking.
Captions in sync with the speech, with no gaps. Wording never changes without approval.
Check every export frame by frame, deliver, and log what worked so the next edit starts smarter.
